This is our new b/w respooled film.

Two years ago, we discovered/bought/found/got excited by a roll of 35mm Tasma 100 film. Since then, we shot a whole bunch of still images on it, respooling it for ourselves. But now, we are opening it for the world to use. The film produces very soft images. It has a fabulous tonal range, even though it’s about 10 years expired. And given the right light, it comes alive beautifully.

Best way to develop – d19 1:1, 20deg – 6mins
Orrrr, send it to Harkat, and we will develop and scan it for you. You need to write to [email protected]. We develop once a month and charge Rs. 500 per roll.

Tasma NK-II dates back to being manufactured in Russian Era Ukraine. It’s a tough versatile stock which looks quite different in different light, has a very gentle contrast and because it’s expired by at least 40 or so years – a bit different with every roll and with its imperfections. It asks for you to embrace its humanity. P.S.: It has very low latitude, so expose accordingly.

To note:
– This is expired film, so there are no guarantees to the quality of the image. There might be random marks here and there.
– There are no returns or refunds.
